Required Summer Reading

2015 Summer Reading Assignments are in! Stock up with these great titles for the summer months ahead.

Required Reading Selections:

4/5 MAG

Rising 4th and 5th graders will need to read a total of four books over the summer. The one required book for grades 4 and 5 is Windcatcher by Avi. This book should be read at the end of the summer as we will discuss it when school starts.

Students in both grades are to read three other books of their choice. Recommendations are available on our Recommended Reading page. Students will need to print the 4/5 Book form and fill it out for each of these three books.

 

Grades 6-9

Students in grades 6-9 should read the three required titles in addition to two free choices. (Recommendations are available on our Recommended Reading page.) The 6-9 Summer Book Analysis form should be completed for each of the five books read. Please bring these to school on the first day.

 
6th grade
