Why does Mooreland Hill have an Annual Fund?
As with other independent schools, our tuition dollars cover only a portion of the school’s annual expenses. Mooreland relies on parents, grandparents, alumnae/i and friends to make up the difference by making a tax-deductible contribution to the Mooreland Hill School Annual Fund. In doing so, Mooreland keeps tuition more affordable to a broader range of families in central Connecticut as well as enhancing the educational experience of all our students.
How much should I give?
The amount you give is a personal choice, but we ask that your gift reflect the fond memories you hold for Mooreland Hill and the difference the school made in your life and in the life of your family. We appreciate every gift as much as we value your participation. We have set a goal of $100,000 for this year. Every gift helps us to reach that goal.
Where does my Annual Fund Gift go?
From financial aid to faculty salaries, from classroom expenses to lighting the campus, your Annual Fund gift helps to run Mooreland Hill School each and every day. With your gift, our energy and emphasis can be on the full development of our students – as scholars, athletes, artists, community members and global citizens.
