Mooreland Hill School will hold its annual The Art of Healing on Friday, April 9, 2010. This year’s Art of Healing will be a mura-a-thon to benefit Roses for Autism, located in Guilford, CT. This annual event, directed by Mooreland Hill Art teacher Sue Nalewajk, brings together the entire Mooreland community and friends for a creative evening to benefit a worthy organization. Our annual Holiday International Luncheon will be held at the school on Friday, December 18th beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Mooreland Hill chorus will perform a brief program before the luncheon begins. The international buffet, provided by our current parents, is a beloved tradition and marks the beginning of the holiday break. All families of current students are encouraged to attend. Dismissal will be at 1:30 p.m.

Young Alumni from the classes of ‘04 through ‘09 are invited for a get-together on November 24 from 12:00 -4:00 p.m. Lunch at noon will be followed by a secondary school panel with our current 8th graders. The young alumni will then take on the faculty and  current 8th graders in an Alumni vs. Faculty Basketball Game. Don’t miss the fun! The athletic awards ceremony will be held on Monday, November 23 beginning at 2:45 p.m. All current families are encouraged to attend.
