The MHS Spring Showcase will be held on Wednesday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert C. Vance Center at the school. Students will perform choral and instrumental selections. Student artwork will be on display in a variety of mediums. Please join us for this lively evening showcasing the arts program at Mooreland Hill.  A dessert buffet will follow the evening’s entertainment. All families, prospective families, and friends of Mooreland are encouraged to attend.

Mooreland Hill families and friends are invited to the school’s 3rd annual Poetry Recitation Evening, to be held in the school gymnasium on Thursday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. All Mooreland Hill students will recite a memorized, published poem to the larger community on this formal evening. Poetry recitations will be followed by a dessert reception.

Mooreland Hill School will hold its annual The Art of Healing on Friday, April 9, 2010 beginning at 4:00 p.m. We are expecting more than 175 people to join in the fun this year! This year’s Art of Healing will be a mura-a-thon to benefit Roses for Autism, located in Guilford, CT. This annual event, directed by Mooreland Hill Art teacher Sue Nalewajk, brings together the entire Mooreland community and friends for a creative evening to benefit a worthy organization.
