Athletics

Mooreland Hill School believes that the athletics program is an integral part of the total educational experience. The program includes competitive interscholastic team sports and some non-competitive activities. The athletics program is consistent with the overall objectives of the school with the commitment to developing sound minds, bodies, and attitudes. Competitive athletics provide an excellent classroom in which to teach young people a sense of pride, teamwork, sportsmanship, and an understanding of competition.
The athletic teams and non-competitive activities meet four times a week, Monday through Thursday. Students in all grades participate in each of the three seasons, with at least one season per year of a competitive interscholastic team sport. Faculty serve as coaches within the athletic program.
Athletic offerings include: field hockey, soccer, basketball, hiking, softball, baseball, and tennis.
