Jay Waller ‘87

Jay Waller ‘87, is a survivor of traumatic brain injury (TBI). While vacationing in Hawaii in October 1996, Jay was dragged from his car, beaten, and left for dead. He is featured in Going the Distancea trailer for a proposed hour-long documentary about survivors of traumatic brain injury. Following his four years at Mooreland, Jay attended Choate Rosemary Hall and Yale University. He was in medical school at the time of this violent crime. Jay is now back in school getting his doctorate in physical therapy. He plans to help others who suffer from trumatic brain injuries.
